Hands-On Learning: A Day with the Aeta Community
Students visited an Aeta community school in Iram, Zambales to experience indigenous culture firsthand. Before arriving, they prepared donations of school materials and daily necessities for the community. During their visit, they observed classes, interviewed a teacher about Aeta education, and participated in cultural sharing through music and dance.
This immersion followed their classroom studies about the Aeta people's ongoing efforts to preserve their traditions and secure land rights. The experience gave students deeper insight into both the challenges and resilience of this indigenous community.
